Iron Fist - Rocking the shoe love

Phenomenal artwork and unique designs described as bold, impulsive, raw and unforgiving....Love it!

Don't get me wrong, I love classic but give me a bit of classic with a quirky twist and that just puts the cherry on my ice cream sundae.

Iron Fist is a brand to have fun with, mix it in with your staple wardrobe pieces to 'edge' things up a bit. A splash of graffiti art on my feet would just totally rock my world this party season.

Fashion should be playful, life is far too short to be too serious ;0)

I'ts CHRISTMAAAAAS - well December 1st but i'm excited so lets get on the Xmas vibe!

Lets kick off with a wonderful, magical, perfectly child inspired adult Christmas innovation...

The St Pancras Station Lego Christmas tree!

It's beautiful and makes me feel mushy and happy for all those commuters getting to feast their bleary morning eyes on this masterpiece as they step off the train and siphon down the escalator on their journey to work.

The Christmas tree is made out of 600,000 Lego bricks, consists of 172 branches and 1200 baubles - also made from Lego!

Happy December 1st everyone, lets get that festive feeling :0)

Ebay 5 day Experiment hits London

On December 1st, Ebay will launch its first ever store! A small pop up open for 5 days and closing on 5th December. The ebay store that will open on Dean Street which is just off Oxford Circus is not going to be a conventional retail store and will feature a limited selection of products including a display of 200 predicted best sellers, giving you the chance to sample/test them out before buying them as opposed to making a gamble like the current Ebay system.

You’ll get to see everything but will not be permitted to take them home. Rather, customers will make purchases using their smart phones to scan in a QR code on the ticket. The codes will take you directly to their website where you can bag and pay for your item.  Clearly an interesting concept although the experience appears to be limited to those who are Ebay users and/or own a smartphone with the QR code scanning functionality.

Topshop Owner To Close Up To 260 UK Stores - It's a sad day

The retail group that owns popular high street chains including Topshop, Miss Selfridge and BHS is to close up to 260 stores after a sharp fall in profits.

Arcadia profits are down by more than a third to just over £133m - compared to £213m last year.

Billionaire fashion entrepreneur Sir Philip Green, who owns the company, blames the drop in performance on the weather.

He told Sky News an unseasonably warm autumn has followed last year's cold winter.

The Arcadia group has 2,500 clothing stores in the UK.

Sir Philip said he expects up to 260 of these to disappear from the high street over the next couple of years as the company "reshapes our portfolio".

Sir Philip also told Sky News he is planning to expand his fashion empire overseas by bringing the Top Shop brand to China in the next 12 months.

But he warned there is no "silver bullet" that can sort out the UK economy

Topshop is a firm favourite of ours here at FF, with Miss Selfridge not far behind but aside from the shame of the poor state of the UK economy BHS can gladly do one!

Jack French London Ltd - Yes Please

When it comes to bags there is no such thing as 'having too many' - NEVER! With this in mind it is very important to keep the fashion finger on the pulse when it comes to hot new labels about town.

Not to disappoint, let me tell you about this new diva on the block - Jack French London.

Having worked in the luxury fashion sector for may years, Jack decided to turn his knowledge and passions into his own unique collection and how glad we are that he did.

The capsule collection comprises of Shoulder bags, Satchels, Totes and Clutch bags with prices ranging from £125 - £195 reasonable much? Can't quite decide between the Carnaby and the Holland, perhaps both will go on my Christmas list - loving that yummy, sumptuous purple lining!

Available to buy from Jack French London and selected John Lewis stores and John Lewis online
