I agree it can be hit or miss but, and there is a but....because New Look is a firm favourite when looking for a non expensive addition to our ever growing shoe collection or a classic styled top or jacket.

This bow detail polo is very elegant, perfect for a dinner date and with a black pencil skirt and semi sheer stockings would be a look to command some authority in the workplace - with an edge of grrrr!

How I laughed when I looked at pictures of my father in a furry suit and a ruffled blue piped shirt on his wedding day back in 1978. But here I am 30 years later in possession of 3 slight variations of that very shirt - sorry dad!
